About the Game

Meteorites was written during the Winter of 2003, and was a large learning experience. It started off as an Asteroids clone, but it grew to acquire enough features and quirks to have its own somewhat unique feel. The difficulty ramps up quite quickly as the levels progress, but the game starts off easy enough that even the most undeft will be able to get by.

Powerups appear when you destroy some meteorites, which include such goodies as: weapon powerups (machinegun, tri-shot, power-shot), a super-speed powerup, and charged-shield powerup.
