How to Deliver Deliverables
Deliverable 0 is submitted only electronically to
the course e-mail address
as described in the description of
Deliverable 0: Group Formation Message
Neither Deliverable 1, 2, 3 nor 4 needs a cover page, as each
is very short, not more than about five pages.
In each of Deliverables 1, 2, 3 and 4,
you must indicate somewhere on the first page:
Deliverables 5 and 6 will be very long documents;
for each of these, you must provide a cover page that
clearly indicates:
- your group number, and
- the names and WatIAM IDs of all group members.
You will need to submit both a hard copy AND and an electronic copy of
each deliverable EXCEPT Deliverable 0, which is to be submitted ONLY
electronically:
- For Deliverables 1 through 6,
a hard copy should be placed in the
designated drop box for CS445/SE463. Also the instructor's name is on the box.
The box is brown and is located in the Tutorial Section of the Fourth Floor
of MC, near room 4065.
- Electronic copies should be emailed to the course account with
the subject
"CS445 Deliverable K Group XX"
where K is the deliverable number and
XX is your group number, with a leading zero if it's less than
10. The file name for the same deliverable should be
"DK-GXX.pdf" where
K is the deliverable number and XX is your group number,
with a leading zero if it's less than 10. PLEASE use this subject line
and file name; otherwise it is difficult for us to organize all of the
submissions. Deliverables 0 and 1 are in plain text format. All
other submissions, starting with Deliverable 2, must be in PDF format.
Deadlines and Lateness
- All parts of each deliverable is due at 4:00pm on its due
date unless otherwise stated in the deliverable's line in the Lecture
Schedule.
- Each day (24 hours) or fraction thereof a deliverable is late reduces
its final mark by 10% and delays its marked return potentially by one day.
Return of Marked Deliverables
Marked deliverables will be brought to the first two meetings of each
section after the marking is finished for handing back to their authors.
Thereafter, the authors will have to make an appointment to pick them
up at the instructor's office.
